本课是湘少版小学英语五年级下册第六单元的第三课时, 为复习巩固课。本课时的学习内容为课文Part C，学生要学习的新短语是on top of，主要句型是：Where was the first/second/… bottle? It was on the water/in front of the boy…. 本节课学生通过看图问答、小组竞赛、自主表演等活动，复习旧知，学习新知，创造条件让学生能够探究他们感兴趣的问题并自主解决问题。
