T:In Unit 6, we talk about rules. Rules can tell us what we can do and what we cannot do.
Everything has rules.
【教学意图】学生了解本单元的主题“Rules”。
Presentation:
Show Pic1, T: What does Maomao want to do?
Can he fly the kite here? Why?
Ss: He can’t fly the kite here.
Ss free talk, maybe they will talk about the wires.
T: If the kite touch the wires, what will happen?
Watch & Answer : How does the grandma tell him?
T: So, Grandma says:
Ss: Please don’t fly your kite here.
T: Maomao asks:
Ss:Why not?
T: Grandma says:
Ss: It’s not safe. It’s dangerous.
T show the pics about not safe and dangerous, read more times.
Watch & Answer: She still gives Maomao an advice, what’s that?
Ss: You can do it ....
T: So the rule of the place where has wires is “Don’t fly your kite”.
Ss read after the computer and dub the story.
【教学意图】学生观察图片已经可以理解Maomao不能放风筝的原因。因此第一遍听的重点放在奶奶说的话上,把握重点句。再次听的重点在奶奶给出的建议上,为后续学生自主表达做铺垫。
Practice:
Show the pictures about Nature Museum.
T: Who are they?
Are you aware there are signs?
Can you see the one above your head? What’s that?
Ss: Don’t touch.
T: If you see someone touch the fish, what will you say?
Ss: Please don’t touch.
T: Why not?
Ss discuss in pairs, then answer.
T: Can you give some advice?
Ss discuss in pairs, then answer.
T: Actually, on the glass, there are other signs.

Also, in our daily life , we can see many different signs in public.
Show the pictures.

Ss try to name them in pairs.
Then. Show the English name one by one. Ss read and put them beside the signs.
Correct the answer and read more times about the wrong one.
